British Summer Time


There is often little compliment to be said by the British about our summers, but one cannot deny that the incessant rain does wonders for the greenery. These were all taken in my garden a few weeks ago when it wasn't actually raining, and the sun was beaming down so strong that you could be forgiven for thinking we were in the south of France.

In other news, I was nominated for the Liebster Blog Award by Quiqui. It's a lovely idea to spread the word about small blogs.     beautiful snaps, i have to admit, i've rarely seen any style bloggers in the UK with outfits gleaming in the sun. I imagine england is a lot like vancouver that way, mostly grey but the sunny days make it all worthwhile. x

    It's bliss, yes, but only when it's hot! (And that's very rarely; the majority of British summer is clouds and rain!)
