There is often little compliment to be said by the British about our summers, but one cannot deny that the incessant rain does wonders for the greenery. These were all taken in my garden a few weeks ago when it wasn't actually raining, and the sun was beaming down so strong that you could be forgiven for thinking we were in the south of France.
