Today was the first day of the year that I was able wear shorts (or dungarees shorts to be exact!). For the past week, the weather has been sending my hands purple so you can imagine my delight when the sun streamed through my window this morning and I felt heat. Proper heat. Not just the heat from the radiator sort of heat! Unfortunately my rather pale legs haven't been acquainted with the sun since last October so please do excuse them. I would like to think that they got some colour when I strolled alongside the canal this afternoon - one can hope anyway!
