Cow Vintage X Northern Quarter

Earlier this week, I got the chance to check out the new COW store in the Northern Quarter, Manchester. If you haven't heard of COW, why haven't you?! No seriously, COW is the raddest vintage store that Manchester has to offer, and they have stores in Birmingham, Nottingham and Sheffield too so you Midlanders have no excuse not to visit.

But anyway, back to the subject of their new store. It's an absolute treasure trove of vintage goodness spread over two floors in the heart of Manchester's coolest quarter: the Northern Quarter. While the star of the show is obviously the clothes themselves - an eclectic riot of colour alongside expertly sourced shoes and jewellery - the part-industrial part-granny's closet interior makes a commendable attempt at rivalling for centre stage. Special mention goes to the gigantic Hollywood-style mirror at the entrance to the fitting room and the hanging bottles that spell COW in the shop window.

So many printed and patterned gems caught my eye, not to mention the basketball tees and green suede boots (sadly not in my size), but images speak louder than words so scroll on through for visual vintage heaven. And don't forget to visit their store at 61 Church Street if you're ever passing by!
